It's not complicated. It's just your wedding stretched across a few days. A dinner the night before where everyone arrives and settles in. The wedding day itself. And then a slow Sunday — a boat, a long lunch, nobody in a hurry to leave.

Getting married on a Croatian island is one of the best decisions a couple can make. The setting, the pace, the food, the sea — it's everything.

It just comes with a few realities worth knowing in advance.

Ferry timetables shape your guest travel plan. Accommodation on smaller islands books out fast. Vendors charge a travel premium. The Adriatic wind is part of the summer — beautiful, and occasionally unpredictable. And getting guests to a remote venue needs an actual logistics plan.

None of this is a reason not to do it. It's just the difference between going in prepared and being caught off guard.

Not because you can't afford one. Not because you're being difficult. Because 100 guests, a ballroom, and two years of planning was never what you actually wanted — and somewhere between the guest list and the seating chart, the day stopped being about you.
