A collection of BTS releases, mostly modern funk and boogie. I highly recommend you go and check out these talented artists. The scene (in a sense of regular parties and loyal audience) is pretty small in Germany and non-existent in Croatia, so I'd say one of my missions is to share this music as much as I can. I think it's ridiculously brave to do your own thing musically and to go against the grain. To shine a light on a genre that's been forgotten, and to give it a new, contemporary twist.

Harri Stojka was this gypsy jazzy dude who decided to make a disco funk tune with his crew in 1983, called "What a Funky Night". On the B side is his reggae single "Ma*****na".
And of course, I had to get "Ready for Your Love" by Danish pop group Boulevard, 'cause I'm always ready for some funky lovin'. What makes me really excited is the Synthphonic Dub version on the other side, oo-wee! Deep 'n' delicious.

Such a versatile album, "All One" really has it all!
Each tune uniquely representing Ferdi's ability to express himself in different styles... From Balearic, through spacey breaks and mellow ambiental, all the way to easy-ridin' reggae jazz (ain't it gettin' hard to put something in a box aye?)
This one stuck with me because it's (who would've thought) hella funky yet ethereal. The choice of synth bass sound is to die for, and the syncopated play between it, other synths and bubbly guitar chords makes it hard not to bob your head.
