Before it became Hacienda Belén, this property was part of Finca Belencito, once known as the Alfarfar de Belén.
In the 18th century, it served as a place connected to horses, carriages, and the movement of people coming in and out of Antigua.
Later, in 1928, it became part of the Torres family, Ana’s family, and was transformed into a coffee estate.
So when we found what looks like an old absorption well under the ground, it actually made sense.
A place this old has layers.
Almost a century in our family, and it still finds ways to surprise us.
