I’m Elizabeth, a professional wedding celebrant based in Chania, Crete.

With this season just around the corner, I still have a few 2026 dates available. If you’re getting married this year and haven’t fully decided on your ceremony yet, now is definitely the time to start thinking about it.

Your ceremony doesn’t have to be generic or rushed, whether it is symbolic or civil! Whether that means something romantic and traditional, light and fun, or simple and intimate, I’ll work with you to create something that feels right.

“Today I married my best friend…” 🤍

This beautiful poem is such a lovely addition to a wedding ceremony. It perfectly captures the heart of what so many couples feel on their wedding day — marrying not just the love of their life, but their best friend too.

As a celebrant, every ceremony I create is completely bespoke, so poems and readings are always chosen to reflect each couple’s story. This is a wonderful option if you’d like to include something meaningful and heartfelt within your ceremony.

It can be read by me as part of the ceremony, or it’s also a really special way to honour someone important in your lives by inviting them to do the reading. Those moments often become some of the most emotional and memorable parts of the day.

Throw back to last year, in beautiful Georgioupolis, where I had the honour of guiding a heartfelt ceremony for a couple who chose to opt out of having any decoration and keep things simple: just the two of them hand in hand with their daughter by their side and the sound of the sea around them.

These are the moments I live for. Pure, genuine, and full of soul. Congratulations again to this beautiful family — thank you for letting me be a part of your special day.

Honoured to officiate this beautiful wedding at one of the most breathtaking venues in Chania. Love was in the air as the sea and mountains provided the perfect backdrop, and the lush grass created a dreamy setting for Hannah and Paul to say, "I do" in front of their two gorgeous sons and their closest friends and family.

🎉 Celebrating One Year as a Qualified Celebrant! 🎉

This month marks a special milestone for me as it's been one year since I completed my celebrant course with and officially became a qualified celebrant to add to my many years' experience. 🌟 Over the past year, I've had the incredible opportunity to put all the additional knowledge and skills gained from that training into practice, and it's been an absolute joy to create meaningful and personalised ceremonies for couples at an elevated level. 💕

I'm immensely grateful for the trust couples have placed in me to be a part of their special day. ✨ As we enter into the wedding season, I'm excitedly looking forward to the beautiful weddings lined up for this summer and the chance to continue crafting ceremonies for each couple.
