During an interview for a radio position with a seasoned media personality, I drew upon my extensive experience in various radio stations, which provided me with in-depth knowledge of the challenges faced by the media house. When asked about my previous work experience, I mentioned a specific media house I worked with in Somanya. However, the interviewer's reaction suggested that he had preconceived notions about my abilities based on the location. He failed to consider my skill set, problem-solving abilities, coullednwith technical knowldge, and that my shows had garnered significant listenership from vibrant areas in Accra, despite being transmitted from a rural setting. My understanding of urban listeners' preferences allowed me to curate content that appealed to them, I realized that my skills were highly valuable to the media house, and that they needed me more than I needed them, so I didn't take the job. Unfortunately, the interviewer's judgment was clouded by biases, indicating the importance of not judging individuals based on their background, as it is often a testament to their strategic thinking and ability to provide tailored solutions
