Last night I had the loveliest excuse to call on a very talented industry friend, the gorgeous Clare Flint Makeup Artist , to work her magic on me! 🤍

I was heading to a fancy dress party and, of course, I couldn’t resist going as Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany’s… but I definitely needed Claire’s help to transform me! 😂

Claire is an absolute dream with makeup — she’s amazing at all styles of makeup and specialises in beautiful wedding makeup, creating a look that feels like you, just with that extra bit of magic. ✨

Here’s my little before & after, followed by the finished Audrey look… black dress, bouffant hair, pearls and tiara! 🖤💎

I think we nailed it! 😍

One of the things that makes a Treasured Brides appointment a little different is the way we narrow down your favourites.

Rather than keeping lots of "maybe" dresses in the mix, every gown is either a yes or a no. If you find a third favourite, one of the others has to come down.

It might sound strict, but after helping brides find their dream dress for over 10 years, I've found it's one of the best ways to stop you feeling overwhelmed.

Instead of trying to remember how ten different dresses made you feel, you're simply focusing on the ones that gave you that little spark.

It's a process my brides often tell me they loved because it takes away the pressure and makes choosing your dress feel much more natural.

Sometimes, all it takes is trusting the process. ❤️🫶

One of the hardest parts of my job... is choosing which beautiful gowns to bring into the boutique! ❤️

Every dress you see here has been carefully chosen because I can picture one of my brides falling in love with it.

Some are perfect for the bride dreaming of a romantic countryside wedding, others are made for a grand country house, and some are simply for the bride who wants to feel completely herself.

The lovely thing is, you never really know which gown will steal your heart until you try it on.

There are soooooooo many beautiful moments on a wedding day...

The formalities are over. The nerves have disappeared. And it's just the two of you, completely caught up in the moment, celebrating the start of your next chapter together.

Seeing my brides on the dance floor, smiling from ear to ear, always reminds me that finding your dress was just the beginning of something so special.

Being trusted to help you choose the gown you'll wear for moments like this is something I'll never take for granted.

One of the questions I get asked all the time is...

"Does it look the same in real life?"

The honest answer?

It's usually even better. ❤️

A photo can show you the design, but it can't show you how the fabric moves, how it catches the light or how it feels when it's actually on.

That's one of the reasons I love trying my new gowns on before they arrive in the boutique. It helps me get to know each dress properly so I can recommend it to the right bride.

This beauty is every bit as gorgeous in person as it is online... and I can't wait for my brides to try it on.

You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you want.

You don't need a Pinterest board full of inspiration.

You just need to be yourself.

🤍 A VERY SPECIAL FULL CIRCLE MOMENT 🤍

This always feels so special…

Her Treasured Brides journey has literally come full circle. ✨

She first walked up my stairs and looked at my wall of brides, before stepping into my little bridal world and beginning her search for the one.

She chose her gown, came back to try it again, and then, three months before her big day, returned to collect it ready for alterations.

Then came the moment we had been waiting for… she wore her beautiful gown and became a bride. 🤍

But her journey with me didn’t end there.

After the wedding, she brought her gown back to Treasured Brides to be lovingly cleaned and packed away, ready to be treasured forever.

And then came the part that made me feel incredibly proud…

She stood on my stairs once again, looking at that same wall of brides she had seen on her very first visit — but this time she was choosing where her own wedding photograph would go. 🥹🤍

From the very first step through my door…
to finding her dream gown…
to becoming a bride…
to returning her gown to be treasured…
and finally finding her place amongst all the other beautiful Treasured Brides.

A very special full circle moment. 🤍

And something I feel really proud of is that none of these appointments are charged for.

The time I spend with my brides after they have chosen their gown — the extra visits, collecting their dress, bringing it back after the wedding, having it cleaned and packed, and even choosing their photograph for my wall — isn’t something I put a price on.

It’s simply part of the Treasured Brides experience I want to provide. 🤍

I think I naturally attract brides who value the same things I do — the personal touches, the relationship, the memories and knowing that their experience doesn’t just finish when they buy their dress.

And that means so much to me.

I love that every bride who becomes part of Treasured Brides leaves behind a little piece of her story — and now hers will be there for every future bride who walks up those stairs.

You may choose your gown with me, but you will always be a Treasured Bride. 🤍✨
