Some surprises really do make your day. 🤍🌸
Today, I received the most beautiful delivery from a lovely bride and her mum, and it was such a thoughtful surprise to arrive at work to.
A gorgeous bouquet from Bloom & Wild with the prettiest blooms still waiting to open, and the most beautiful card expressing their thanks for the kindness, warmth and help I had given them during their visit to Treasured Brides.
Although, sadly, I didn’t have the gown my bride had her heart set on, and she ultimately found her dress elsewhere, they still wanted to take the time to thank me for the experience they had with me. They even said they would be recommending my little boutique to others. 🥹
That really does mean the world to me.
Of course, I always hope every bride who walks through my door will find the one with me. It’s rare that I don’t have what a bride is looking for, but sometimes the perfect dress is waiting somewhere else, and that’s absolutely how it should be.
Because for me, it has never been just about selling a wedding dress. It’s about the experience, the kindness, the reassurance, the little moments and making every bride and her mum feel genuinely looked after.
To know that their time with me meant enough for them to send such a thoughtful gift, even though they found their dress elsewhere, is such a lovely reminder of why I love what I do. 🤍
Thank you both so much for making my day with your beautiful flowers and incredibly kind words. You really didn’t need to, but you have made me feel very special.
And I’ll be watching these beautiful blooms open over the next few days with a little extra love. 🌸✨
