A little personal update from me…

As some of you may know if you’ve been to my events over the last few months I’m expecting another little one! 👶🏻 Seb is very excited to be a big brother. 👦🏼

You may have noticed that events have been a bit less frequent since earlier this year. It’s been a tough pregnancy with never ending sickness, (31 weeks of it and still going 🫠) but the end is now insight. 🙌

Yesterday I held a lovely gathering at Flourish in York! Being 37 weeks pregnant, my family all thought I was bonkers. I probably am. 😂 But I couldn’t resist one last opportunity to meet lots of lovely mums at a stunning new space.

As I’m due anytime, that will be my last event for a short while. I’ll be taking the rest of October and November off to rest, nest and settle into a new routine once baby arrives.

I am hoping to be back in December, with some lovely festive events. But we shall see! I cannot wait to be able to bring baby along to our lovely gatherings.

A relaxed morning meeting and chatting to other new and expectant mums, enjoy nutritious food, and spend quality time your little one.

We will also be exploring the facilities and services this stunning new wellness space has to offer, including an on-site crèche! Come and have a nosey with us!

Here it is mums… the date for our next gathering!

This will be our first gathering at the beautiful new wellness space in York - Flourish. flourishyork

Our first event here will be a delicious lunch and a chance to tour the gorgeous facilities this beautiful wellbeing and fitness club has to offer, including Pilates studios, an on-site crèche and more!

The gathering is less than two weeks away, and there will be limited spaces for this event. So please book early to avoid disappointment. ❤️

Our last Summer event of the year at Goldsborough Hall is almost here. Next week our mums will enjoy an alfresco lunch and drinks on the terrace, delicious cookies from Milk it | Cookies for new mums and a mini outdoor shoot with Harrogate & Yorkshire Maternity, Newborn & Family Photographer and plenty of space for babies to play outdoor in beautiful surroundings.

I am so excited to share more about our August collaboration with Milk it! 🍪 Milk it | Cookies for new mums
I absolutely love working with other mum founded brands. 💪

‘Milk it’ 🍪 was created by Mel, a postpartum nutrition consultant, breastfeeding support counsellor, doula, perinatal yoga teacher, and mum of two who breastfed for over four years. She believes we all deserve a better kind of postpartum.

More about Mel’s story… 🍪
I founded Milk it after two babies, not much of a village and the realisation of how little support truly centres the mother. Through my work with new mums, I was seeing too many families struggling with feeding issues, and getting conflicting advice, so I began baking as a simple act of care that opened up conversations about how mums were feeling. Breastfeeding can be intense and isolating, especially in the early days, and I wanted to do more to support.

Lactation challenges don’t end in the early days. Supply can fluctuate with stress, sleep deprivation, returning to work, or navigating separation from your baby. Milk it is here for all of it—from the first leaky feeds to the final bittersweet weaning days. And when hunger strikes (which it always does), Milk it offers nutrient-dense, one-handed convenience with no preservatives or additives.

I am so excited to announce that tickets for our August Gather&Picnic at the stunning Goldsborough Hall are now live! 🙌

Join us for Gather&Picnic,
- At Goldsborough Hall Goldsborough Hall
- On Wednesday 26th August from 11.00-1.00pm.

We welcome expectant mums, new mums and not-so-new mums. You can come alone or with baby. For this event babies up to 2 years old are welcome.

Our event features:
* An opportunity to relax and meet other like minded mums in the most stunning, private surroundings. 🌳
* We will be dining alfresco on the beautiful terrace area. ☀️
* You are also welcome to bring a picnic blanket should you prefer to sit on the grass. 🧺
* If we are not blessed with sunshine on the day, don’t worry we will have use of the stunning Orangery.
* Enjoy a delicious Summer salad on the terrace. (See full details when booking). 🥗
* Enjoy a glass of fruit juice, or upgrade to a sparkling elderflower or glass of Pimms. 🍹
* Our mums will also be treated to a delicious cookie thanks to ‘Milk it’. 🍪 Milk it | Cookies for new mums offer freshly baked lactation snacks made to support breastfeeding.
* We will also be joined by the wonderful
Harrogate & Yorkshire Maternity, Newborn & Family Photographer photography. Each mum will be gifted a free outdoor mini photo shoot. Images from the shoot will be available to purchase. 📸
* Each mum will receive a Summer edition of our Gather&Co Tote bag.
* We will have a blanketed area for babies with books and toys. You are welcome to bring your own additional blankets.

This is the perfect opportunity to gather, relax, and celebrate motherhood together in the most stunning surroundings.
