We are focused on developing collections that are design-led and we pride ourselves on creating something less traditional. With over 10 years experience in graphic and fashion design, we aim to stay ahead of trends and have the knowledge and resources to do so. We love the quirky and the sophisticated and try to provide both styles to meet a multitude of client needs and desires. Founded in 2011,

Gray Starling Designs is a small design studio based in West Yorkshire. We're a husband and wife team who pride themselves on creating something less traditional, you won't find ribbons or diamantes here. Carolyn is the creative one with an obsession with graphic and print design. She's the one churning out the ideas while Hid crunches the numbers and makes sure we're on track and focused. What motivates us is perfection and a desire to please. Nothing is more satisfying than following an order from concept to production and knowing we did everything we can to help. We know that events and compromise don't always go hand in hand, so we offer options to suit all budgets and even a bespoke design option too.

..and with the new year the time has come for me to hang up my wedding design hat.

It's been 15yrs of ups and downs, and ive met beautiful people, made some really amazing friends, but this industry is no longer for me and I am so ready for a new chapter.

Thank you to those whom the algorithm allows to see this, for all your support and friendship. Wishing everyone a fabulous 2026 and beyond.

New year new me, the pressure to better myself and make plans and set goals, its so overwhelming. I much prefer a slow, give myself a break January, enjoy the left over Christmas wine and cheese, hibernate from the cold weather...anyone with me 😆
