Molly & Jesse | 23rd May 💍

What a beautiful day it was, with stunning views stretching across the Dorset countryside. This was our first visit to Champernhayes, and we were completely captivated by its charm, a beautiful house in the most idyllic setting.

For their wedding feast, Molly & Jesse chose our Cheese, Charcuterie & Ploughman’s Platters, followed by our Sweet Platters as a second course. Our R&G team was on hand throughout the day to style and set up the platters, serve desserts, and ensure everything was beautifully presented from start to finish.

Still smiling from our lovely review from Hope & Joel. We catered for their beautiful wedding at The Ridgeway Barns on the 22nd April 🤍🌿

One thing we absolutely love hearing from our couples is how generous and satisfying our sharing boards are — and this lovely review says it perfectly. So many couples worry whether sharing food will feel enough for a wedding breakfast, but we truly believe food designed for gathering should leave everyone full, happy, and talking about it long after the day ends ✨

From canapés to overflowing charcuterie boards and plenty of desserts (with the brownies and millionaire’s shortbread stealing the show!), it was such a joy to create a menu that brought everyone together around the table.

We’re also so pleased we could easily cater for all dietary requirements, making sure every guest felt included and well fed on such a special day.

“An absolutely perfect service! We used R&G for our celebrations after our legal wedding ceremony for around 30 people. Stephanie was an excellent communicator and never tired of my questions and adjustments. The drop off was prompt, professional and efficient.

The food looked absolutely gorgeous and tasted lovely. We enjoyed the cheese & meats, ploughman’s and sandwich boards — I can honestly recommend them all, especially the coronation chicken! It also went a really long way.

I know exactly where I’ll be going next time I have an event that I want reliable, delicious food for.

Maeve & James celebrated their special day at the beautiful Fonthill Estate. 🌿🤍

After the ceremony, they returned with their guests to trays of chilled Pimms, served as welcome drinks. Throughout the evening, our Rhubarb & Ginger Bar was in full swing, serving cocktails as the celebrations unfolded. We also created a stunning grazing table filled with artisan cheeses, charcuterie, and Scotch eggs, allowing guests to help themselves and take their seats. It was a truly wonderful wedding, beautiful, relaxed, and full of joy. 🤍

Table Set-Up & Styling 🌿

All platters are kept perfectly chilled in our refrigerated van until set-up begins. Our experienced team then carefully places each platter according to your table plan, with all allergies and dietary requirements thoughtfully considered.

Platters can be styled as a stunning grazing runner along long banquet-style tables or elegantly positioned on round tables. We work seamlessly around your existing styling, including posies, floral arrangements, and candles. Alternatively, we can incorporate our own fresh eucalyptus and soft ruscus to enhance the overall look.

Our team will ensure water jugs are filled, table wines are perfectly placed, and candles are lit. Stephanie will, of course, complete a final check to ensure everything is just so before guests are seated. ✨🌿
