It's been one week since my daughter Meg married the wonderful Luke, and what a magical time we shared together.
Normally I’m the one leading the ceremony, but this time I had the joy (and emotion!) of seeing it all through the eyes of the Mother of the Bride, a truly unique and unforgettable experience.
Yes, the lead up had its fair share of to dos and little stresses, but when the day arrived, it was a beautiful whirlwind. We celebrated an incredible love story, laughed until we cried, and danced long into the night.
My one piece of advice? It all goes by in a flash, so pause, breathe, and soak in every moment.
Huge thanks go to:
Beth Kirkham Ceremonies for the most beautiful ceremony
Sean Rayment MCR for helping me feel so confident and radiant in my dress
Get Ahead Hats Eyton Wrexham for the perfect finishing touch in my hat, I didn’t want to give her back 😉
& for making us all feel fabulous and photo-ready
The Beacon for creating a setting that felt truly magical from start to finish.
Lottie Topping Photography their amazing photographer who was so discreet, yet on top of everything capturing the joy, the tears, and all the little moments in between
And last, but not least, The Red Rose Cake Company, for the amazing cake table goodies, which not only looked amazing, but tasted out of this world. They survived their journey to Kent with careful packaging and skilful driving by Pat & Paul (my cousin) of Split the Difference The Vintage VW Camper Hire Company.
Grateful beyond words. What a fabulous start to May 💕
