My first proper cosy feelings of the Autumn!

Husband is out and the rain is coming down so the doggo and I are having a girl's night in, making teeny tiny reindeer.

Because Christmas is coming! (Yes, I said it 🤣🦌🎄)

A packed workshop this morning and a really lovely buzzing atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful trees and happy chickens....

A packed workshop this morning and a really lovely buzzing atmosphere, surrounded by beautiful trees and happy chickens.

It's always fantastic to see how much variety you can get with different combinations of colour and shape. I especially loved the ombré swallows! 😍

I've really enjoyed these guest sessions with Hillgrove Nature and Crafts , hoping we can get together again in the Spring 🌱

Great to team up with Hillgrove Nature and Crafts at the weekend, as a guest tutor for their range of craft workshops. We had a lovely morning making swallows with a beautiful mix of colours - well done all!

It's definitely the thing I love most about the approaching autumn, so I made some willow mushrooms to join the real ones.

Bonus ID points if you can tell what type of mushroom each one is based on - both tasty and common at this time of year 😄

Lovely to team up with Worcestershire Parent Carer Forum again, with a swallows workshop in Bromsgrove last night. It's so important to create those spaces where people can come together, share experiences and support each other.

It was great to see people chatting while wrangling sticks (and sniggering over willow 'kinkiness' 😂)

Some more recent projects using up willow that I had left over from previous workshops - I hate anything going to waste and it's all good practice!

This willow is a variety called Dicky Meadows which turned this beautiful golden colour after steaming.

One little swallow / swift / house martin (never quite sure 🤣) , now at a lovely new home.
