At Funky Flowers we create bespoke flowers designs for all occasions; from weddings to parties, sympathy flowers and floral bouquets. We also have an eclectic collection of giftware in our shop, which makes unusual and perfect gifts for any occasion. Had an amazing evening at our Flower School last night with creating the beautiful garden style design, using our gorgeous English Peonies, ranunculus and stocks.

To celebrate May Day, we have some lily of the valley Convallaria majalis, in the shop for sale. Its a woodland flowering plant with sweetly scented, pendent, bell-shaped white flowers borne in sprays in spring.

Giving Lily of the Valley, especially on May 1st (May Day), is a cherished tradition symbolizing luck, happiness, and the return of spring. Originating in France, this custom involves gifting fragrant white bells to loved ones to wish them prosperity.

It was also Queen Elizabeth II's favourite flower.
