Umming and ahhing about what to wear to getting on the road and making sure my snacks don't make my breath smell! (No cheese and onion crisps for me!)

I always wear nannys ring, I wouldn't be a celebrant without her help and although she's not here anymore wearing it makes it feel like she is.

Todays ceremony was beautiful and chilled with lots of laughter and tears! Huge congratulations to Emma and Ellis 🥰

Rebecca Latimer and Sam, from a beautiful summer solstice wedding to celebrating 1 year on!

Such a beautiful day Teybrook Orchards. They had a handfasting and instead of signing a certificate they wrote their intentions for their future together and threw them into the firepit that evening to send their wishes into the universe. Such a magical day full of love 🥰

Another 1 year anniversary, this time Beth and Chris. They had a handfasting and wanted to get their little boy involved as much as possible.....he had other ideas but we still got him to sit down and sign their certificate together!

I've added the reel today on my story but you can also find the reel in my LGBTQ awareness highlight at the top of my page.

After watching the reel I would say this is exactly how i felt about my marriage to my ex husband. We had a happy contented marriage, yes we had all the normal annoyances and complaints you have in any marriage, but generally we were good.

We started having conversations about my sexuality (because I began to have feelings for someone else, which he knew about) that is when the ball started rolling, and once it started I couldn't stop it! It was like the flood gates had opened!

Who am I now? Well....I'm me! I'm proud of my sexuality, however I'm still coming to terms with it and trying to figure out what made me follow societies path and not my own. I still struggle to say I'm a le***an.......I find it easier to say I'm gay.....but whatever the term I'm finally being true to me. Happy le***an visibility week 😍🏳️‍🌈👭

I can't believe its been a year since Jamie and Louise's ceremony. Such a mix of cultures, they both looked amazing in their red outfits. It was such a pleasure learning about Jamie's family and culture, which is fully embraced by Louise.

I know you were celebrating last weekend so I hope you're having a lovely chilled 1 today xx

It was planning session day with Emily and Josh today. When we spoke about their vows and who would go 1st they immediately went into a round of rock paper scissors! What you didn't see was they both went scissors before this round too!

Remember your ceremony is yours, everything is fluid, there's no "it HAS to be done this way!"

I've been reading about the history of Pride in a fab book my dad got me for Christmas.

PRIDE the story of the LGBTQ movement by Matthew Todd.

I had no idea that the word PRIDE is actually an acronym for "Personal Rights In Defense and Education" where the word PRIDE came from!

I thought pride was about accepting yourself and being proud of who you are, which it is. But now digging deeper into its history it is so much more than that. Lesbian/Gay/Bi/Trans/Queer have been fighting a lifetime to be acknowledged and accepted and we have come so far. The fight will never be over, people will continue to be ignorant and uneducated, but we have a huge amount to be grateful for. The people that fought for us to have a voice have paved a road for us to speak out now.
