Making all the crochet rainbows of hope during lockdown has got me back into crochet. I hadn’t made anything since my own girls were babies; he hem years ago. This is one of my favourites at the moment. I love the pattern which looks great in every colour I’ve used so far. I really like this denim blue colour by Stylecraft. This size is newborn and I think it is really cute. I have a hat, jumper and blanket good to go at the moment. DM for details.

Another custom made card order. This card reflected a Mum’s determination and resilience especially during lockdown. Despite the weather, going out for long walks with three young children and three dogs everyday, keeping fit in mind and body. I’m pleased to say she loved her card. I really enjoyed making this greenhouse/potting shed card for a friends 60th birthday. I love being able to add little personal details. The photo behind the window is his garden, he has a little black radio he takes into the garden to listen to the cricket and the vegetable seed packets refer to an “in” joke. The card would fold flat but I decided not to risk it and boxed it up.

I’ve been a bit quiet on this page as there has been a lot going on at Tudor Towers recently. I have still been making cards for customer orders in the background. The £1 I donate from every card mounted up to £50 which was given to Down Syndrome Cheshire. They have posted this lovely message to say how grateful they are. So thank you to everyone who ordered a card which contributed to the donation.

Happy World Down’s Syndrome Day
Held every year on the 21st of the 3rd month to represent the triplicating of the 21st chromosome. A person with Down’s has this extra chromosome and everyone is invited to wear odd socks to demonstrate this uniqueness.
This pop up box card celebrates the day and my GREAT nephew, Jamie with 21 odd socks.
Don’t forget, for every card you buy from Celebrate & Party, £1 will be donated to Cheshire Down’s Syndrome Support Group ( and also, that if you wear odd socks today; you’ll wear odd socks again tomorrow 😂🧦)
