Cancelled my plans tonight to make content for my little flower business.
Spent hours arranging stems, moving vases from one corner of the room to another, chasing the last bit of May daylight, filming reels, editing clips and overthinking captions that probably didn't need overthinking.
The result? 12 likes. 113 views. 2 unfollows. 🤣
And honestly, some days it's hard not to wonder if anyone is actually seeing the work behind the flowers.
But then I look at what's actually in my hands.
Deep pink and purple chrysanthemum daisies catching the last of the evening light. Soft light pink carnations. Six mini bright sunflowers that refuse to be anything other than joyful.
And I remember - this business was never built on going viral.
It was built on early mornings at flower markets, muddy buckets in the kitchen sink, hand-tied bouquets made with slowly and carefully, and the people of Winchcombe who choose to support something small, local, and real.
So I'll keep showing up.
I'll keep creating.
And I'll keep turning stems into something that might make someone's day feel a little softer.
Because this little business means everything to me💐
If you've ever bought a bouquet, shared a post, recommended my page or even just paused long enough to look - thank you. It matters more than it probably looks from the outside.
And if you've been thinking about treating yourself or someone you love to flowers this week... consider this your sign🌿✨
Fresh stems, made by hand, right here in Winchcombe🌿
