Today, a group of us visited Merton’s Community Fridge. The fridge’s main aim is to reduce food waste. The amount of food donated to them from supermarkets, restaurants and other initiatives is staggering. It was such an interesting experience. We volunteered for them and realised quickly that while the main aim is to get rid of the food, it also helps so many people who may be struggling to feed their families every day.

Even at this holiday season, the Wimbledon Foodbank is in need of donations to enable them to help local people in crisis.
All gifts can be left in our trolley in the entrance lobby. Whilst all gifts are welcome, the immediate need is for table sauces, squash, small rice and micro-rice, coffee & washing up liquid. Thank you

Opened in 2007, the Mansel Road Centre has grown into a well known, extremely popular and well used venue in the centre of Wimbledon. We offer room hire for meetings, training sessions, lectures, children's parties, counselling, concerts and many many more from small charity events to large company AGM’s.
