A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Flght Community Meet-Up at FlightDeck PC ✈️

Here are just a few of the photos from what was a fantastic day.

It was brilliant spending the day with Rob & Thierry from flght, bringing people together through a shared passion for aviation, flight simulation and the wider aviation community.

A special thank you as well to Louise & Harry for all their help and support throughout the day — events like this simply wouldn’t happen without the people working behind the scenes.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came along, got involved, had a go on the simulator, joined the conversations and helped create such a friendly atmosphere.

We loved hosting you at The Immersive Hub and hopefully this will be the first of many flght community events in Wigan.

We created The Immersive Hub because not every young person thrives in a traditional learning environment.

Some need a quieter setting. Some benefit from one-to-one support, practical activities or technology-based learning. Others may be home educated, accessing EOTAS provision or looking for a different route to recognising their achievements.

At our Wigan hub, we bring together inclusive education, immersive technology, AQA Unit Award Scheme opportunities and aviation experiences through FlightDeck PC.

But we cannot build this vision alone.

The Founding 100 is an opportunity for individuals, families and local organisations to become part of our journey and help us develop the facilities, resources and opportunities available to young people.

You can get involved by:

Introducing The Founding 100
The Immersive Hub is a community-first space where aviation, simulation and digital skills become visible, practical and more accessible.

Now, we are inviting the first 100 Founding Members and Founding Partner organisations to help shape and support our next chapter.

The Founding 100 is built around four things:
✈️ Widening access to immersive aviation and technology
💡 Inspiring curiosity, confidence and ambition
🤝 Creating useful community and education connections
🚀 Helping more people see new pathways as achievable

One-off supporter levels begin at £25.

Founding 100 Membership is £250 including VAT, payable in full or as £25 per month for 10 months.

Founding Partnerships for organisations begin at £1,000 + VAT.

The 100 numbered places are shared between £250 Founding Members and Founding Partner organisations. The Founding 100 is a supporter programme, not an investment, and recognition is always optional.

My next workshop at The Immersive Hub is now open for bookings!

One of the reasons I created The Immersive Hub was to make learning more hands-on, engaging and relevant — giving people the chance to experience technology, develop skills and explore new possibilities rather than simply hearing about them.

My next workshop continues that approach.

Expect an interactive session with practical activities, discussion and plenty of opportunity to get involved — all delivered in the small, welcoming environment of The Immersive Hub here in Wigan.

If this is the **specific aviation/CAA workshop**, I’d make the opening much stronger around the aviation mission and simulator experience rather than using this broader version.
