💛 A Small Gesture for a Very Brave Family 💛
Recently, we had the privilege of creating some special balloon displays for a wonderful little boy who has been diagnosed with Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans (DFSP), as well as a display for his little brother to help bring some smiles during what has undoubtedly been a challenging time for their family.
DFSP is a very rare, slow-growing form of soft tissue cancer that develops in the deeper layers of the skin and surrounding tissue. Because it is so uncommon, many people have never heard of it, which is why we wanted to take a moment to help raise awareness while supporting this amazing family.
As a small gesture, we also gifted Mum a voucher towards a future celebration. We know that when families are navigating hospital appointments, treatments, and uncertainty, special occasions can sometimes take a back seat. We hope this gives them one less thing to worry about when the time comes to celebrate happier moments.
At Havenhaus Events, we believe that balloons are about more than decorations—they help create moments of joy, laughter, and normality, especially when they are needed most.
