Hi everyone,
This week I would like to bring some Chinese-infused food into my weekly menu:
1. Lemon Butter Chicken: Price £13
Beautiful chicken marinated in Chinese sauce, fried then stirred with onions and lemon butter sauce. This is one of my favorite dishes - sweet and sour in a rich sauce.
2. Cap cay: Price £8
My dad told me ‘cap’ means ‘ten’, and ‘cay’ means ‘vegetable’. It is so named because we usually put several kinds of vegetables together, then stir fry them with prawns, fish cake, meatballs, or any kind of meat.
3. Steamed Rice: Price £4
All items serve 2 people.

Happy Eid Mubarak !!

Hello,
This weekend is Eid Mubarak celebration for muslim around the world, so related to this special occasion I’ll make something very traditional that we, Indonesian commonly have.
1. Rendang £15
This dish is made from beef which is cooked in coconut with lots of herbs and seasoning. This is one of our best and famous dish.
2. Squash in coconut milk (Sayur Labu) £6
In our tradition we usually just have squash itself in coconut milk, but many of Indonesians mix it with other vegetables like tempeh, green beans or tofu. At this time I would make it with deep fried tofu. (I often make it but never think to take a picture, so picture I attach here just to figure, how it looks)
3. Crackers (Kerupuk) £4
Crackers is something we love to have in every dish. It goes well with any dish which has coconut milk in it. I will have rice crackers mix with fish crackers.
