LOCAL MENSWEAR BUSINESSES - WE’D LOVE TO COLLABORATE! 🌿

We’re putting together a beautiful woodland wedding styled shoot at The Village at Thoulstone and we’re looking for a local menswear business to get involved.

We have our male model ready to go and an amazing team of suppliers already on board. Our florist has created this gorgeous moodboard to bring the shoot together, think warm earthy tones, natural textures, woodland romance and a little bit of whimsy. 🍂🌿

We’d love to feature some menswear within the shoot. Formal wedding attire would be fantastic, but we’re also completely open to getting creative, relaxed tailoring, colour, texture, alternative weddingwear… whatever feels right for the aesthetic and your brand.

Wednesday 16th September
3pm–7:30pm

We’ll be photographing throughout our woodland ceremony space and the wider Village, creating beautiful imagery for everyone involved to use across their own marketing and social media.

A massive shout out to Geoff at Still Life Gin (straight from Catherine Hill, Frome) for braving the cold with us at the Open Day.

This is for the gin lovers who want something beyond a standard bar menu. The process feels like pure alchemy, you can actually distill your own bespoke flavour profile specifically for your wedding day. It’s a level of attention to detail that we’re obsessed with, from the botanical science to the custom "Masterpiece" labels.

Edible Art in the Marquee 🍰 🎨

Catherine from .bakery.wiltshire brought a whole new meaning to "hand-crafted" at our Open Day. Every single one of her botanical designs is hand-painted, making her cakes a massive centerpiece in the marquee.

The best part? They are 100% vegan. If you were lucky enough to snag one of her hand-painted cookies during the day, you’ll know they tasted just as incredible as they looked. We are still blown away by the level of detail she puts into her sketches and final designs.

Have you thought about how you’d like to style your woodland wedding?

We absolutely love a Persian rug aisle to bring warmth and colour to a forest setting, and we’re obsessed with the mix of relaxed seating, macramé details and natural florals. It’s such a beautiful way to personalise your ceremony space and really make it your own.

Against a deep green woodland backdrop, your colours just pop. Everything feels so vibrant, romantic and completely immersive in nature.

Nature is never a solo act🌍

​Take the humble wildflower meadows that surround our clearing. A single flower can’t become a meadow alone; it relies on a frantic, beautiful partnership with bees, butterflies, and the wind to spread its story. Without that constant, buzzing cooperation, the landscape would fall silent.

​The woods work the exact same way. They don’t just grow side-by-side; they lean on one another, shielding each other from the wind and sharing the light. It’s the ultimate community—no ego, just a collective effort to keep the forest thriving.

​Out here at The Village, we’ve realized that people aren't much different. We’re at our best when we’re gathered around a fire pit, sharing a drink and a laugh, or standing under the canopy to witness two people join their lives together.
​World Earth Day is a reminder that we belong to a community much bigger than ourselves. We are part of a global neighborhood that includes the owls, the oaks, and the soil beneath our boots. When we look after the land, we’re looking after our neighbors.

​So today, find a moment to appreciate the connections that keep you grounded. We’re all growing together, and that’s a pretty lovely thing to be a part of.
