At the end of the day, we want to create something incredible for you. The best results happen when there is mutual respect,open communication, realistic expectations and an understanding of the work that goes on behind the scenes.

Wedding suppliers are a business too, and a little understanding goes a long way!



The wedding industry is constantly evolving. Trends, logistics, and expectations have changed. What worked for a wedding 5 years ago, may not be the same as it is today. Also what they had or want you to have, may not be what you want!

Wedding suppliers work tirelessly to bring your vision to life. Long hours away from friends and family-you can't expect them to work for free!

We are sorry but we can't take a maybe as an answer-we also don't want you to miss out on suppliers! Get them booked in with deposit paid!

Greenery isn't always a cheaper option, and foraging from around the venue or you land may not always work either- listen to the advice your florsit gives you.

Facebay maybe cheaper- but will it be cleaned ready to use, delivered to you and then taken away dirty to be cleaned?

Basically More = more! Choose your guest list carefully!

Exposure is always lovely, but so is being able to feed the family!

Expectations are key! Insta and Pinterest can be full of super expensive ideas. Sometimes we have to bring a hint of that idea into play, without blowing your budget

Its all about the details and every wedding day is different.

Friday = OFFICE CLOSED

After a seriously busy wedding season, we’ve decided to give our team something we all need a little more of… time to recharge.

So, for the winter months the office will be closed on Fridays.

Because behind every beautiful wedding is a very hardworking team, that work 6 or 7 days a week! We think they deserve an extra day to switch off, reset and come back feeling refreshed ready for next wedding season!

More rest. More balance. Better energy.
And yes… we’ll be available Monday-Thurday 9am-3pm

Wow!!! This is what it means to 2 sisters who gave up big girl jobs and went from side hustle to full time business.
We are through to 3 categories of the regional and we are thrilled!

Thank you to our family who we couldn’t have done any of this without, our team and a special mention to flossy, the judges who took the time to read our entries and finally to every couple who books us, trusts us and voted for us - we love you all.

Now to arrange the childcare so we can have a girls night away at the awards 🍾

Ps our sister business @1840 is through too, I feel a round of espresso martinis will be on the menu and some sore heads (Carrie!)

Cufflinks that never made it out of the house. A cake with no napkins. Sore feet from brand new shoes. A bouquet that left a wet patch on the dress. A guest book with not a single working pen.

As we finished the last of our 2026 season weddings today, we thought it would be fun to look back on the stats and memories made...

WOW WHAT A SEASON!

Watch to see our stats of the season....boat arrivals, suprise drone and plane shows and some of our biggest weddings to date.

Its been crazy hard work, but so rewarding and so fun!

We just want to do a MASSIVE SHOUT OUT TO OUR TEAM, all the suppliers that we have worked with, and of course all the amazing couples that used Wed & Prosper for their wedding day this season.

Now our team deserve a bit of rest- so our office will be closing on Fridays starting from next week.
