**UPDATED URGENT WEDDING APPEAL - FRIDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER 2025 - CHIGWELL, ESSEX
**
You may remember that we have been given the absolute honour of planning an urgent wedding for a very special gentleman from ROMFORD who has a short time to make some special wedding memories with his family and friends. We are, however, still DESPERATELY looking for the following services to ensure that he gets his one wish, that is to marry his fiancée. Their wedding is in IN 4 WEEKS on FRIDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER 2025 in CHIGWELL, ESSEX.

We are appealing once again to all our supporters in the ROMFORD, CHIGWELL, CHELMSFORD, BASILDON, ST ALBANS, EPPING, HARLOW AND ALL SURROUNDING AREAS for your support to help us find all the remaining services we require for this wedding.

The fabulous ACC team that I delivered flowers to this morning being recognised for their work to make the ACC a place where people with learning disabilities can feel safe and comfortable while receiving treatment. As a SEN parent I have no doubt after seeing the kindness first hand in this department that it is truly deserved 💜💜💜💜

We love celebrating inclusion and excellence at East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust 🌟

We’re thrilled to share that the Ambulatory Care Centre and Medical Day Unit (ACC/MDU) at the New QEII Hospital have become the first department in our Trust to receive official Purple Star recognition! 💙

Led by the incredible Aimée Saunders and her dedicated team, ACC/MDU has gone above and beyond to embed the Purple Pledges, a powerful set of standards inspired by Hertfordshire County Council's Purple Star initiative. These pledges ensure that people with learning disabilities receive inclusive, personalised care every step of the way.

⭐Use of the Purple Folder to understand patient preferences
⭐Quieter spaces for those who need them
⭐Extended appointment times
⭐Visible safeguarding info & open feedback channels

Yesterday I had the pleasure of booking my first 2026 bride after she had seen my displays in Birdcage Bridal Boutique - Welwyn Garden City
Both her and her groom to be suffer with hay-fever so won't be having any issues with pollen on their big day with my flowers!!!!

This morning I dropped off some Individual 'Thank you' roses to staff on the Ambulatory Care Centre (ACC) The New Qe2 Hospital , to thank the for looking after my husband for the last 7 weeks while he needed IV antibiotics. The staff of ACC trained me to do his antibiotics at home (did themselves a favour really not having him there daily to visit!! But also made it easier for us not being tied to a daily visit there!) But he still was there daily initially and weekly for PICC care.

Today's Wedding fair was very quiet, but us suppliers never like to sit around, so we took some time to get photos of our items with other suppliers items, my buttonholes in some very handsome suits and I always love a opportunity of having pictures with Penny from Lucky Penny Weddings. A memory bear dog made for a family out of a much loved and much missed blanket from the most loved family member of all!!!
I've added weighted beads to the base of this dog so it will sit not just as a teddy but can be kept where she can be seen, remembered and loved

Now that's it's been delivered I can share another special bear.
This one was made for a lady who was one of the first little girls diagnosed with Rett Syndrome (the same conditon as my youngest daughter) back in 1985. Who today celebrated her 45th birthday!!
Her mum was one of the founders of RSAUK (Rett Syndrome Awarness UK) now Rett UK and they are both absolute inspirations for many of us in the Rett community.
Clare's mum had wanted a bear in purple "Rett colours" and butterflies. She also gave me one of Clare's baby grows to incorporate
I've also used buttons off the babygrow and this bear is the first to use a leather heart engraved using my laser engraver I was given at Christmas!!
