Let’s talk wedding venues...venues with some character!!

Yes, it’s important to make sure the space fits your guest numbers, but beyond that, choose somewhere that feels right to you. A venue with character or a beautiful aesthetic not only sets the tone for your day, but honestly, it becomes such a great talking point for your guests too!

When I work with my full planning couples, venue search is one of the first big steps we take together. I always ask what kind of spaces they’re drawn to, maybe it’s an open garden for a summer drinks reception, or a warm, enclosed space for a winter one. Do you want a bright, airy room for your wedding breakfast that can transform for your evening party? These details matter, and they help us find a venue that just fits.

One of my favourite things as a planner is creating moments that feel as special as they are beautiful. This tablescape was for an intimate family dinner, celebrating their daughter’s surprise proposal while on holiday in England, a moment full of love, joy, and happy tears.

Okay yes… I know it sounds 'super cliché', but I’m a die-hard romantic and I, unapologetically love, "LOVE".
The kind that gives you goosebumps, makes your aunt cry at the ceremony, and has your best friend tearing up during the vows.
Hi, I'm Mrinalini — aka Nalini (thanks to the Brits who decided “Mri” was a bit of a tongue twister). Originally from India, now living with my tiny fam in England, planning weddings that bring cultures, people, and Pinterest boards to life!
Also fun fact: I’m a mighty 4ft 11in tall, so yes, you’ll probably spot me under a floral arch with a clipboard in one hand and my mobile phone in the other. You can call it pocket-sized perfection.
A few years ago, I accidentally fell headfirst into the world of weddings and honestly, there’s been no looking back. Sure, it hasn’t been all fairy lights and fireworks, but every stressful second is worth it when I see two humans say “I do” surrounded by the magic we created together.

I would love all of you to remember: behind every wedding is a team juggling seating charts, catering counts, and timelines. That little “RSVP by…” date? It "really" matters. There is a reason it's on the invite, so please DO NOT ignore it.
