One of my favourite parts of full wedding planning is rehearsal day. ❤️

Whether it’s a few days before the wedding or the day before, it gives everyone a chance to walk through the ceremony, calm the nerves, and get excited for what’s to come.

But can we talk about the age-old rehearsal day phenomenon? 😂

The bridesmaids arrive knowing exactly what’s happening, where they’re standing, and what’s coming next.

The groomsmen? Full of enthusiasm, ready to help... and usually responsible for 90% of the questions. 🤣

Now, in their defence, I absolutely LOVE how engaged and hands-on most of my grooms and groomsmen are. But there is always that moment when I’m thinking, “Didn’t the groom already tell you this?”🙄🤷🏻‍♀️

And honestly, sometimes the groom and his groomsmen are as bad as each other!

All jokes aside, it’s one of the reasons I love what I do. Seeing everyone come together, having a laugh, supporting the couple, and getting excited for the big day never gets old.

So tell me... who’s asking the most questions at your wedding rehearsal: Team Bridesmaids or Team Groomsmen? 👇😂

✨Running up and down these stairs like my life depends on it… because honestly, someone’s wedding day does. This is the dedication nobody talks about.

✨25–38k steps on a wedding day. Every. Single. Wedding.
The only sad part? All these steps and I still don’t have Kim K’s body. Truly a betrayal.

“We’re going with another planner because they’ve worked at our venue before.”

This is one of the most common reasons I’ve heard couples use when going ahead with another planner. And I get it, on the surface it makes complete sense.

But here’s the truth. Venue familiarity isn’t what makes a great wedding planner. It’s the least important thing on the list.

What actually matters is experience, instinct, supplier relationships and someone who is completely dedicated to you and only you on your wedding day.

A venue coordinator knows the building. A great wedding planner knows how to plan your wedding, ANYWHERE.

🌸Save this if you’re currently choosing between planners.

This made my whole week.
When couples tell me they were actually present on their wedding day, that’s everything. That’s the whole point of what I do.
If you’re in the early stages of planning and wondering whether a wedding planner is worth it, I hope this helps you decide.

Enquiries open for 2026 and 2027.

I NEVER PLANNED TO BE A WEDDING PLANNER 🌸

17 years in the UK and I’d never even been to a wedding in the UK when I stumbled into this industry during Covid assisting my mentor, completely winging it, and absolutely loving every chaotic second of it.
It felt exactly like my years working in advertising agencies in India. The adrenaline. The deadlines. The “right, we need to fix this NOW” energy. I was hooked.

🌸 I learnt to drive at 30. As a mum of two. Now I drive up and down the country for other people’s love stories, which still makes me wonder.

🇮🇳 I grew up in India and I brought something with me that I use at every single wedding — JUGAAD. It’s a Hindi word with no direct English translation but the closest is this - the art of finding a brilliant solution with whatever you have, right now, under pressure. Every wedding needs it at least once. I’ve never been caught without one.

🩷My dream? To plan destination weddings in India and show couples just how extraordinary an Indian wedding on home turf actually is.

😊My kids can’t wait to turn 16 to assist me at weddings. Not out of love for me. Purely for the money. I respect their honesty 😂

🐶 I am obsessed with my friends, dogs, and make up, though my makeup skills are embarrassingly basic for someone who loves it this much.

☀️ Oh and at 4:30am when my alarm goes off? I’m not meditating or manifesting. I’m just hoping the creatine I’ve been taking, kicks in before I have to lift heavy.

❤️Recently, a couple tipped me handsomely after their wedding because they felt I went above and beyond. They felt I wasn’t charging much for my services. (Rare I know)!!!
That meant more to me than any fee ever could. Because it meant my work spoke for itself.
That’s the only kind of wedding planner I know how to be.

If you’re planning a wedding and want someone who will treat it like it’s the most important day of your life because it is, come find me 👋🏽 link in my bio

Leak it then. my camera roll is 23 venue walkthroughs, 61 seating plan drafts and one very dramatic decor situation.
This is what me, your wedding planner is doing behind the scenes while you’re at work. The emails, the site visits, the 11pm supplier chases,so you don’t have to think about any of it.

If you’re planning a wedding in 2026 or 2027 and you want someone who’s this obsessed with getting it right, my link is in bio.
