Street Food Shawarma Evening 🌯

Secret Shawarma Spice Mix 🤫

Ingredients:
• ½ tsp ground cinnamon
• ¼ tsp cardamom (or cloves)
• 1 tsp ground coriander
• 1½ tsp ground turmeric
• ½ tsp ground ginger
• 2 tsp smoked paprika
• 2 Tbsp ground cumin
• 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

A quiet reflection as I step into a new chapter.

The big 5-0 arrived.
The number unsettles me.

I’ve lived most of my life feeling 24,
moving forward on instinct.

Now the body slows,
the mind sharpens.

Like any good dish —
less fire, more time.

Years in the kitchen taught me
it’s not just about what I make,
but what I give back.

Now I pass the craft on.
