I like to capture the pure and natural beauty of a child, rarely any props and minimal colours, with simple organic poses and expressions. If you see something you like in my style, then please get in touch. I am always open to your ideas as a parent but please be aware that this is my style, if you like lots of props maybe another photographer is for you. Just a small glimpse of their civil ceremony before the big three-day celebration at Kin House.

A few of these film frames were taken by a very enthusiastic little guest who quickly appointed herself my assistant for the day directing the couple, suggesting poses, and taking her role very seriously.

Safe to say I’ve already got my second shooter lined up for Kin House.

A beautiful sunny day at Sefton Park Palm House . Beautiful for everyone else anyway. Absolutely boiling for those of us inside a giant glass conservatory. 🌿☀️

At some point before the ceremony, I was handed the rings for safekeeping. I did say, “Please don’t give them to me, I’ll forget.”

Fast forward to the ceremony. The celebrant asks for the rings. The ring bearer doesn’t know where they are. I don’t know where they are. Everyone’s looking around while I’m completely zoned out.

Then it suddenly hits me.

I’ve got the rings.

Thankfully it got a laugh rather than a panic. But just a reminder that if you’re getting married, please don’t make your photographer responsible for the rings.
