Thank you (and a longer post than usual).
A couple of weeks ago, I won highly commended for Best Newcomer (National!!) in the amazing awards. I couldn't attend the event, due to filming a wedding the same day.
I also won the Best Newcomer award in the North East and Yorkshire region...as well as High Commended Videography in the region. All this, within my first 1.5 years.
Winning this award is actually pretty special to me, as it recognises everything about the industry and setting up a business. I didn't go on a training course and have had zero help in getting going... just a desire to deliver wedding films people will love.
The late nights, early mornings, battles with software, endless emails, messages, enquiries, driving, talking, accommodating and always being professional, sitting at a computer in every spare moment during the summer season & not forgetting the social media aspect (which I'm not the best at), the website building, the tax returns....have all been absolutely worth it.
I'm pretty much fully booked for 2026 and 2027 and have bookings all the way into 2028!
Thanks to everyone, who's shown any support but the BIGGEST thanks goes to the couples who've put their trust in me to capture their day!
