Thank you to everybody who has shared our story. We have received some lovely phone calls and the support from visitors to the Centre has been greatly appreciated.

We also held an on site Raffle for this stunning Peregrine portrait by Wildlife Artist Nigel Artingstall and kindly donated by Glynis Dover. This raised £101 and the lucky winner is CHRIS TURTON Ticket no 288

Several of us have tried to contact Ribston our Landlords to see if they would extend our Lease or even sell us the land but sadly they have failed to respond.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We have been quiet over this last week gearing up for our new Feathered Friends Initiative!

Over 100 birds of prey including owls, hawks, falcons and eagles are at risk of losing their home and for some of them worse.

This local rescue sanctuary Wild Wings Birds of Prey is being forced out due to commercial development plans, and without urgent support many of these animals may have nowhere to go.

Some were rescued from abuse.
Some from illegal trade.
Some were rehabilitated after life-threatening injuries.

Many cannot survive in the wild and can't legally or ethically be released!

We’re launching the Feathered Friends Initiative to help save them through fundraising events, live music, coffee mornings, giveaways and community support.
