Although not fully celebrant related, it was a real honour to be invited to the Annual Garden Party at Buckingham Palace yesterday in recognition of my service to the local community through my volunteering with St John Ambulance.

It was an incredible day, amazing atmosphere, and such a privilege to represent an organisation that does so much for people every single day. 🚑💚

That said… I couldn’t help thinking what a fantastic venue Buckingham Palace would make to lead a ceremony 😉🌿

Still on cloud nine after last night ✨

After attending The Academy of Professional Celebrants Awards at the Union Jack Club , I am beyond thrilled to have been awarded Best New Celebrant Award! To have only completed my training at the back end of last year makes this even more surreal.
I feel incredibly honoured, especially knowing just how many amazing and talented people come through the Academy each year. What a journey it’s already been, and this is only the beginning 💛💙

Some places you visit for work leave a lasting impression on your heart 🤍

Recently, I had the privilege of attending a service at Randall’s Park Crematorium, and I was reminded just how fortunate I am to work in such peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The views, the stillness, and the gentle presence of nature all offer a quiet kind of comfort on what can often be incredibly difficult days.

Spaces like this don’t take away the sadness, but they do hold it softly. They give families room to breathe, to reflect, and to find moments of calm amidst everything they’re feeling.

It’s also the kind of place you can return to later just to sit, pause, and remember.

Grateful to do work that, even in its hardest moments, is surrounded by such beauty 🤍💙
