Something to Celebrate!
Wakefield Music Collective – The Charity!
After a lot of hard work, we have finally achieved Charitable Status, granted by the Charities Commission. We now have a Board of Trustees which includes Collective members.
This was a long process, and the hard work is not over, we will continue to do our best to bring you fantastic live music events.
As many of you may know, Wakefield Music Collective is a grass roots, DIY organisation, completely volunteer run, and all our funds are raised through bids and grant, sponsorships vendor fees and donations. We are all very excited by this new era, being granted charity status is a great step for WMC that will bring us greater access to funding and many more opportunities so that we can continue to improve the quality of what we do.
A huge thank you to everyone who supports, we’re excited to continue working with you.

A massive thank you everyone who came down yesterday and made the day so special!! Such a good atmosphere! Thanks to the djs who all brought their A Games and played superb sets! Thanks to Sub:Cult for supplying their sound system, my ears are still ringing!! Hopefully we'll do it all again next year and make it bigger and better! Cheers 😊
