Trying to create flowers whilst working around a part time job and 3 children has been stressful and often exhausting. Even when it's just 1 or 2 bouquets a week. I'd still put so much time and effort into ordering as I wanted my bouquets to be beautiful, whilst carefully trying to balance the books with what often felt like constantly creeping costs. I'd often be up at the crack of dawn waiting for a fresh flower delivery, conditioning flowers whilst trying to make the kids breakfast/school lunches, quickly prepping the flowers before completing the school run, answering calls/messages, then delivering on the way to work or waiting in for collections after work. Sometimes relying on my marvellous mum to help me out. I'd try to update my customers regularly and try to ensure that I posted enough content on socials/my website to prove I was still working and once all that was done I'd go home and try to be a good mum and a wife.
Then I burnt out...
So after a lot of consideration, I have made the decision to fully focus on my passion of wedding and event floristry going forward. I will only be taking a limited number of orders for weddings and events each year because as always, I want to give my customers 110% and I'd rather provide quality over quantity.
I would like to extend a HUGE THANKS to every single one of you who placed an order, followed my page or even liked my posts. It's meant an awful lot to me π₯² and I hope you will continue to support my small business as it moves forward even if its just by giving a picture the odds thumbs up π
And if you or someone you know would like to book flowers for a wedding/event please get in touch by emailing [email protected] π§ ππΈπ°π½ββοΈπ€΅π₯πΎπ I will be offering a discount to any customers who book a wedding/event in July/August π xx
