GREEN LILY EVENTS IS A REGIONAL FINALIST IN THE 2027 WEDDING INDUSTRY AWARDS!!!

Someone pinch me. Actually, don’t. I might cry. 🤍

The 16-year-old girl who organised her school after-prom had absolutely NO idea that one day she’d be running her own business and be in the running for WEDDING PLANNER OF THE YEAR.

WHAT?! I genuinely don’t have the words. Just the biggest, silliest smile on my face and a heart that could burst.

First, a HUGE thank you to Kelly-Anne Weddings for encouraging me to enter. Sometimes you need someone else to see what you’re capable of before you quite believe it yourself.

To every couple who has trusted me with one of the biggest days of their lives - THANK YOU. You let me into your stories, your families, your plans and your dreams. Getting to bring those to life is a privilege I will never take for granted.

And to this industry… honestly, the support, kindness and encouragement from fellow suppliers has been phenomenal. Sometimes downright humbling. We spend so much time cheering each other on, and that’s something really special. 🤍

Right, I’m off to pop the ch*****ne because HOW ELSE ARE YOU MEANT TO CELEBRATE THIS?!

And now… bring on November! ✨

One of those little behind-the-scenes moments you might not notice… 🤍

After the Baraat and Milni, the groom completes Toran Marna, striking the Toran at the entrance with a ceremonial sword as part of this beautiful wedding tradition.

And then? The sword comes back to me. 😂

We absolutely LOVE bringing Hindu wedding days to life. The traditions, the colour, the energy and the incredible celebrations and knowing the rituals, the timings and all the little details that make the day run seamlessly is such an important part of what we do.

Because planning a Hindu wedding isn’t just about creating something beautiful. It’s about understanding and respecting the traditions that make the celebration so meaningful. 🤍

And we bloody love being part of it. ✨
