I grew up in a house where Madness was ALWAYS playing, fell in love with Suggs at a far too young age and last night got to dance my frilly socks off with my siblings watching my favourite band in the world. 🕺🏼

There is genuinely no better feeling.

Because yes, I spend most of my life talking weddings… but occasionally your wedding planner needs to clock off, put her dancing shoes on and scream along to Madness with her family. 

Additionally… if any of my clients happen to know Suggs, I am absolutely available for backstage passes for the Christmas tour.

Ultimately, my dream would be Madness playing at one of my weddings. Although I'd probably (definitely) be so excited I'd completely forget I was the planner and just become the biggest fangirl in the audience. 😂

One of the many perks of the job ✨

Between wedding activities, we managed to squeeze in 24 hours off in beautiful Barcelona - we made the most of it. Think sunshine, wandering new streets, discovering hidden gems, and a few cocktails along the way 🍸

One thing we love most about what we do is that weddings can take us anywhere. From incredible venues across Europe to unforgettable celebrations around the world, there's something so special about exploring a new destination and imagining all the possibilities for our couples.

Destination weddings? We absolutely adore them. ❤️

What a fantastic afternoon at Four Gables Uncovered! ✨

We were delighted to be invited along to experience the incredible food, creativity and hospitality that the Four Gables team are so well known for. From the beautifully presented dishes to the attention to detail throughout, every element was thoughtfully curated and absolutely delicious.

It was also wonderful to spend time with fellow wedding and events professionals, sharing ideas and celebrating the talent within our industry.

A huge thank you to the Four Gables team for such a memorable experience. We left feeling inspired (and very well fed!) and can't wait to see what you have planned next.

Saturday’s story 🤍

Our first wedding of the season and what a way to start… Becky & Kieran, you were magic.

Sunshine (just about holding on), the BEST energy from your family and friends, a dancefloor that did not quit, and a lot of very well earned drinks flowing all night 🍸

From timelines to last minute fixes, set up to bar service - Green Lily Events and Green Lily Bars were out in full force and we loved every second of it.

This is exactly why we do what we do 🤍

Part 2 of things I’d never do at my own wedding as a wedding planner…

Yes, I have more opinions 😅

I’d never leave guests sitting too long after dessert, I’d never automatically sit family closest to me at dinner, and I’d never have my legal ceremony on the day.

Every one of these affects the energy, flow and feel of your wedding more than people realise.
