Fun fact about Vinyl DJ’ying:

Vinyl DJ’ing is the epitome of DJ’ing in that it requires an accurate and unaided set of skills to execute accurately.

- No screens;
- No Auto Cue;
- No Sync Buttons;
- No BPM Displayed;

The DJ is required to manually find the cue points . The DJ has to use their sharp ears to beat-match as there’re no visuals. The DJ has to know their tracks’ breaking points, points of climax, mixing points to get optimal timing.
The DJ does all this without any aids!

I have massive respect for the vinyl DJs, more especially those who learned how to DJ on the format!

Not forgetting to mention that Vinyl DJ’ing has 0 piracy, so the label/artists eats with each record sold!

This deserves RESPECT!!

So, no matter how good a DJ you’re on CDJs, Software, etc, and no matter how big a brand you’re, no matter how dope a producer you’re, so long as you don’t know how to play on vinyl, you’ve not reached the epitome of DJ’ying!

Those who find this offensive may go ahead and find a nice, cozy little corner to cry at!
