Now open. Before and After Coal: Images and Voices from Scottish Coal Mining Communities.
Nicky Bird picks up the story 40 years after American photographer Milton Rogovin came to Scotland to photograph Scottish miners at their pits, in their homes. Nicky met with individuals and families connected with the original photographs in an exhibition that focuses on family, community spirit, work & place and ideas & feelings about what has changed and what has endured.
