Interested in exploring nature and learning more about our beautiful coastline?

Join the Bioblitz: Free Nature Workshops at Skipperstone Beach, Bangor on Friday 30 May, 10am to 5pm.

These workshops are free of charge and open to anyone with a curiosity for the natural world.

Attend as many sessions as you like! Please dress appropriately for the weather, and if you plan to stay for the day, bring a packed lunch.

👉10am-12pm Coastal Bird Identification with Wildlife Guide and Expert David Thompson
👉12.15-1.15pm Biodiversity Walk and Talk on Coastal Recording with Ulster Wildlife Trust
👉1.20-2.30pm Tree Identification with Field Studies Ireland

Final day for this term of our workshops at Hope NurserySchool, what a fabulous nursery school ❤️ the children have worked so hard on their flower containers and vegetable bed! Now they are munching on lettuce, rocket and beet leaf like caterpillars and patiently waiting on their carrots, potatoes, parsnips and beans to be ready 😋 I look forward to meeting the new group of children in September!

Shaftesbury Nursery new raised bed is coming along nicely! The children have done a fabulous job planting this up :) can't wait to see the rest of it fill out, the last 2 photos were planted last month and bulbs in last year so it's taking shape! 🌼🌸🌸🏵🌼🌸🌻

A few fun pics from today's afterschool club, painting crazy hair pictures! ❤️ the children used a combination of blowing paint through straws and using brushes to add finer details! Most of the children drew their own faces using a printed image as a guide to copy 👏 🎨👨‍🎨👩‍🎨🖼
