Don't forget to think about the children on the invite list - how old are they? How will they be entertained?

From something as simple as a colouring pack on the table for them whilst they wait for their food, to glow sticks for the evening party or even a dedicated children's entertainer, there are lots of options for all budgets to keep the little ones entertained so everyone enjoys the big day to the max!

At the First Dance Company, we were so sad to hear of the news of the passing of the great Dame Maggie Smith. 💔

Her immense contribution to the world of theatre and acting has left an indelible mark on our profession, inspiring generations of performers and audiences alike.

From her unforgettable portrayal of Professor Minerva McGonagall in Harry Potter 🧙‍♀️, to her critically acclaimed role as Violet Crawley in Downton Abbey 🏰, and her iconic performances on stage, including Miss Jean Brodie in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie 🎭, Dame Maggie’s legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched with her extraordinary talent. 🌟

Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of witnessing her brilliance. Rest in peace, Dame Maggie Smith, you will be dearly missed. 🕊️
