Peaches and Cream 🍨

Oh how I loved this colour scheme last week, perfect for C&A’s wedding at . A perfect collection of bouquets, buttonholes and flower wands etc ✨

Lots of people are still afraid of artificial flowers, but it all comes down to the quality of the blooms. You can get poor quality fresh and artificial flowers, but when you trust your florist to use the best, the outcomes are always incredible.

Forever grateful for the trust of my couples, and for giving me the opportunity to flower your weddings, whether they be fresh or artificial flowers 🌸

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Sant / St David’s Day 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

A very special day for two reasons. I’ve always loved St David’s Day, the sense of pride, passion and hiraeth about being born and bred in Wales. My culture is something I have always been proud of.

So much so I studied the Welsh language to A Level, concentrated on Welsh culture and artists as part of my art studies, and attended Welsh universities. My daffodils work is still hanging proudly in our home 🌼

It’s also the reason I chose to launch Misselthwaite Flowers Ltd on St David’s Day, seven years ago… So today is also OUR BIRTHDAY!! 🎈

HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY MISSELTHWAITE FLOWERS

It’s been hard
It’s been gruelling
Many tears of ‘I can’t do this’ have been shed

I never wanted my own flower shop, never wanted to be ‘big’… And still don’t.

Misselthwaite Flowers has given me the most precious gift of all… Time 🕰️

Time with my family, time to be a mother, time to grow, time to recover, time to bond with my couples and time to absolutely LOVE what I do!

Perhaps it’s also time to get back into my art and to show that off too 🎨

Thank you for being here flower fans, 7 years have gone soooo fast and I’ve got so much more I want to achieve with my wonderful little business.

Thank you for changing my life 💜

Whenever I ask who is charge of you all, YOU are always in charge of the bouquets 😂

You always remember the ‘30 mins before the ceremony’ warning I give you, and come up with excellent ways and rhymes to remember how to hold your flowers… 🪴

Everyone of you is special, and everyone of you play an important part on the wedding day

Not used to wearing flowers but always look their best on a wedding day

I’ll always make sure you have enough pins to secure your blooms, and involve you in our flowery conversations. In fact, speaking with my grooms is always so funny as they always have the same wedding jobs… Suits, djs and honeymoons 🤵‍♂️
