We are delighted to share that the Festival of Chariots in Glasgow was a tremendous success! The event began with the procession, where the beautifully chariot was pulled through the streets of Glasgow, ending in a vibrant celebration at Kelvingrove Park.

In the park there was dancing, drama, kirtan, vibrant stalls — and 1,200 plates of delicious prasadam served.

The response from the public was incredible, with many expressing their appreciation for the fun and spiritual atmosphere and warm hospitality.

About Holi Scotland

Holi provides an amazing opportunity for people to come together, unite and transcend boundaries of race, creed, culture, age, nationality and gender. It promotes equality, social harmony and peace. It is an event for everyone with Colours, Yoga, Meditation, Dance, Henna, Face Painting, Bonfire, Vegan Meal, Fire Spinning & so much more. This could be the most colourful day of your life! Our aim is to provide a most authentic, original Holi experience as nowadays most of Holi festivals has lost their authenticity and has become business venture.

In India, Holi announces the arrival of spring and the passing of winter. The festival breathes an atmosphere of social merriment. People bury their hatchets with a warm embrace and throw their worries to the wind. Every nook and corner presents a colourful sight. The festival brings home the lesson of spiritual and social harmony!
