Sam and the team are taking on a new venture.

We’re delighted that from Thursday 12th February The Bedford, Horsham will be open again!

We’re excited to be able to build on the fantastic work of Richard, Jodie and the team at North & South Leisure have put in since last summer to help the Bedford reach its potential as venue that celebrates live music and togetherness with community at its heart.

We’re also really happy to see some of the current team re-opening the Malt Shovel as a Freehouse. We know there will be some friendly competition but we really hope that you will continue to support the diverse range of venues that Horsham offers and keep hospitality thriving.

As part of the partnership with Stonegate we are still tied on certain products but have worked hard to ensure we can stock some local beers from breweries we love such as Firebird, Harveys and Gun Brewery. We’ll also be stocking locally sourced wines and spirits alongside international favourites.

Matt and some of the team will be staying with us, joined by Sam and some familiar faces from the Sussex Event Bars team who you may already know from Friday Night Lates and other events in Horsham and beyond.

The pub will be briefly close to allow for a changeover, reopening on Thursday 12th Feb. We’re working hard behind the scenes to bring you a full programme of live music, events and food and look forward to welcoming you.

One of our friends has been nominated for Monitor Engineer of the Year through the TPi Awards. Hannah is an inspiration to all and has been a guiding light in the event industry. Hannah has an amazing work ethic and a true passion for her job in Live Sound. Hannah was a co-founding member of WILM (Women in Live Music) and has been an advocate for bringing more equality into the industry. She has toured with many amazing artist and has no doubt been a fundamental factor to bringing joy to millions of gig goers.

It is that time of year for our favourite community festival. We have worked with Sussex Sounds now for three years and today we have four stage running in Horsham
town Centre.

We have over 20 local artists preforming on this amazing day. What a way to close the summer season.

We also are working th ArenSussex Event Barst time who are proving the DJ for the first DJ stage of the event. Make sure if you are local
Today to pop down. Stage are running till 4pm in the outskirts and 6:30pm in the Carfax.

With the first Sussex Sounds started we are starting to look forward to the Sussex Sounds Festival to be held this August. Five Stages across Horsham Town Centre. This was last year's event.
