Yes the rumours are true…it is indeed the end of the road for The Curry Shed.

19 years and several tons of curry later, we are hanging up our ladles and packing away our flower garlands for the last time.

Thanks to the festival fields for having us.

Not exactly curry related but a story of making connections around the world through the love of good food!

Our dear friends sent us in the direction of their dear friend Nana in Nara, Japan.

Nana makes fresh soba noodles every day and serves them up with delicious broth and the lightest and crispy-est tempura ever. Not to mention the biggest smiles!

Merci Nana pour la bienvenue chaleureux, le déjeuner délicieux et les sourires! Et merci Aitana et Sarah!

Spicy spicy spice time! We make up spice bags for our curries to save time when we are at festivals. This year I bagged up about 100kg of spices including more than 17kg of turmeric, 12kg of mustard seeds & about 3kg of hot chilli powder!
