Something a little different; film from a personal wedding. Clearly even when we’re guests we can’t help ourselves!
Congratulations again to our gorgeous friends Megan & Ryan on their epic wedding last month! We loved every second of it! 🤩
Celebrating being out of a wedding editing backlog for the first time in over two years!!! 🍾
Ever since the pandemic started, I’ve been stuck in an editing backlog due to working full time prior to the pandemic, then getting stuck cleaning hospitals during it, and then having 2021 dramatically adding to my workload with 56 weddings to film and edit, each with their own speeches, ceremonies, teasers and many with highlights too, and then being unable to clear my 2021 weddings before my 2022 season started.
In total since 2020 I’ve had over 300 films to edit, ranging from 1 minute teasers (which still take me hours) to 20+ minute features. Having this constant workload has always been on my mind, and wherever I’ve been, be that holidays, Christmas and on my daily tube journeys, I’ve always had a hard drive and my laptop on me to keep editing. I’ve honestly not stopped.
It’s the most bizarre feeling to not have a wedding to edit after so long of doing nothing but editing, but as of tomorrow I’m keeping myself busy by starting a new job and I’ve still got my degree to keep my stress levels up 😂
For those that don’t know, I started a law conversion course in September, but due to the amount of editing I still had to do I dropped down to the part time course in December. I’ll be graduating in 2024 now, and as I’ve taken on minimal wedding work this year I need a job to keep me going financially.
As of tomorrow I will be the business coordinator of the EMEA department at Colliers in the West End. It isn’t a position in a law firm as I was hoping for, but it’s giving me stability over the next few years and will allow me to continue to take on the weddings I want to without taking on more than I have time for due to financial worries.
Wedding wise, I’m very much still here and really looking forward to sharing so much more.
I’ve got some mock assignments to hand in next week, and I’ve got exams to prepare for in May, but after that I’m back filming and editing my 2023 weddings which I’m so excited for! I can’t wait to put a new teaser together!

The magazines have been on a shelf for months and I rediscovered them today so thought it was worth a share!

Our first wedding in Liverpool!
A gorgeous glass conservatory filled with plants is me all over so I knew wedding at this spectacular venue would be amazing.
Clare and Adam are so lovely and just had so much fun on their wedding day! We felt totally at ease and loved capturing them both with their many friends and family.
The party in the evening was insane, no one was holding back from that dance floor! I’m not sure if it was the alcohol or just a super confident crowd but there were people on shoulders, handstands, cartwheels, various trips, slips and and some seriously questionable dance moves. 😂 So much content that I can’t wait to edit!
The band were also incredible and absolutely bought the party. Such a pleasure to work with them too and I honestly couldn’t recommend them more!!

This wedding was like stepping out of vogue on an editorial shoot.
Everything about it was planned to perfection and just so effortlessly stylish.
Monica designed her spectacular dress and I was so excited to see it after I found out the amazing would be bringing her vision to life. She looked so elegant and classy and I could have spent all day filming just this dress alone!
Monica & AJ are one of the friendliest couples I’ve met who are not only so welcoming, but so kind and encouraging towards everyone they meet. Monica was so genuine and complimentary of all of her suppliers on the day, and really gives off such positive vibes, even in a situation where most people would probably melt down in stress (the zip on her evening dress breaking) it was a real pleasure to be in her company.

I was scrolling through my phone trying to find an old photo of a shelf of all things, and I came across this!
The lovely sent this to me after we shot a wedding with her last June!
Admist the madness of last years wedding season I never posted it, so here we are some 15 months later 😂
So, I feel like now is probably a good time to share a few facts about us for anyone new here:
- We are both 28 and live in south east London with our two adorable house rabbits Baby & Swayze.
- We love London, we love weddings in London and unless we move abroad we can’t see ourselves living anywhere else.
- We have been filming weddings together since 2018.
- We’re both full time students.
- We love ice cream, probably more than anyone else you know.
- We don’t have “sides” of the bed. According to a lot of our friends this is really odd and unusual for a couple.
- If you didn’t get the hint above we also love Dirty Dancing.
- We love rose, and live above a wine shop which saved us during lockdown!
- We aren’t engaged or married, which is an assumption a lot of people have about us.
- We’re also not siblings, which is a more concerning assumption some people have about us.
- We both really want to learn a language and after falling in love with Paris we’ve decided on French. Any recommended tips / apps send them our way!
We also have plenty of differences, but they are some of the common favourites 🤩

My 100th wedding spent in beautiful Bordeaux! 🇫🇷🍾
The weather was perfect, the venue was incredible and these guys seriously bought the party with an insane amount of sparkling rose which was going down so well they actually had to put a pause on serving because at one point they wouldn’t have had any for the toasts!
Sophie chose a beautiful autumnal colour scheme for her flowers and bridesmaids dresses which I loved! Everything looked so good, from the huge amount of confetti, candle favours made by Sophie herself, and the denim jackets the bridal party (and Alec at one point) put on in the evening.
We had so much fun at this wedding and were so sad to have had to leave Bordeaux, but we came back with a car full of wine and a hard drive of a totally epic celebration!
Thank you guys for making us feel so welcome, we loved it!

I have and will continue to march for Gaza. 🇵🇸 More than 37,124 Palestinians have been killed and more than 84,712 have been injured by Israeli forces since Oct 7, 2023. This number does not include the thousands still missing under the rubble. A report from the Global Protection Cluster found that at least 3,000 women are estimated to be widowed, 10,000 children orphaned, 17,000 children left unaccompanied or separated and more than one million people have lost their homes. At least 30 Palestinian children have died from malnutrition and dehydration and more than 1000 children have lost one or both legs. - @so.informed This is very different to what I’d normally post. At the core it is sombre and painful to think about, everything wedding films aren’t, but just because this may not fit with my wedding videography narrative it doesn’t detract from the fact that it is still happening and it’s only getting worse. I’ve lost followers and been told that what I’m posting is inappropriate, but I honestly don’t care and will continue to post, continue to march and continue to raise my voice in whatever way I can to demand a permanent ceasefire. E&D 🤍 My last wedding of 2023 and what a way to finish the year with this gorgeous pair! This was a festive celebration spanning across the London four days before Christmas. Starting with preparations in @thenedlondon followed by lunch at @spring_ldn , Somerset House, a stunning ceremony in @fitzroviachapel finishing off at the In and Out Club. We shot this one on VHS as well and I’m so happy with how it turned out. Throwing all that imperfect 90’s nostalgia into the mix to really capture the atmosphere.
