21.5m x 7.5m stretch tent up and Culdrose, along with straw bales and beer barrels, for a Royal Navy event.
Most stretch tents are a kind of earthy, dark brown but we went for a very light grey / almost white tent with the thought it would be a bit cooler in the summer.
The ground is so damn hard right now; the pins were hard to get in and will be harder to get out.

Continuing with our useful kit for we've picked up for weddings and events, we bring you the Pyle 40w 1,000 yard load hailer.
Have you ever been to a wedding where the best man is running around a field screaming "Quick, quick - they're cutting the cake" or an event where you've missed last orders are the person shouting "Time at the bar" was inaudible above the drunken din?
Well, this beast will grab the attention - it's the loudest one we could find for the buck and will get granny out the Portaloo from powdering her nose and back to the proceedings.

Right, we've been getting a load of new stock in at Pengelly Event Hire - aside from the 10 new marquees, 1,400 chairs and 300 tables, a new van and a load of other stuff we got in an action when Trevarno Tentaprises closed down.
We get asked for random items for events, so when we come across them - we pick them up. It's all about offering quirky, different and cool event items at afforable rates.
So, here are some galvanised bins. Much better looking that the black plastic bins you see at most events.
It's always a joy to hear people say: "Your wedding was fantastic; the bins looked exceptional."

The Job can be hard work, but I love it.
All over Cornwall, meeting different people with amazing stories. Its physical and outside and that gives me what I need from Life... and money.
Occasionally We have customers that are so greatfull for what we build and create for them, it genuinely makes the early starts and long days worth it.
Today was one of those days.

We've just invested in some new drapes and lights. We now have drapes for all our size marquees in peach, ivory and champagne colours. Drapes are priced from £175 for 20ft by 40ft to £330, for a 40ft by 60ft marquee.

We're in the process of upgrading and improving all our hire stock, as well as adding extra event hire items on a weekly basis.
Here is our 40ft by 60ft marquee that we had cleaned and waterproofed by https://swsailcornwall.com/, and we must say that they've done a great job.
