We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be hosting one of our Christmas wreath-making workshops at the beautiful Aysgarth Falls Hotel for the very first time! 🤍

Join us on Thursday 3rd December at 2pm for a festive afternoon of creativity!

Create your very own Christmas wreath using beautiful seasonal foliage and festive touches, whilst enjoying a warming glass of mulled w**e and a mince pie or two!!
The perfect way to embrace the Christmas season, get creative and enjoy a little time out.

When Katy got in touch, she knew exactly what she wanted — a slightly structured bouquet in deep burgundy, blush and lush greens, with seasonal flowers and trailing Amaranthus for that effortless movement.

A beautiful finishing detail was the addition of ferns, a subtle nod to her grandmother’s bridal bouquet.

Elegant, seasonal and full of thoughtful details — the perfect bouquet for their intimate elopement at Yorebridge House.

Allow me to reintroduce myself…

If I’m being honest, I’ve been a little bit rubbish on social media recently!

I got a bit lost with what to post. What do people actually want to see from me? Then, as always, the old anxiety kicked in and before I knew it, I’d completely shut down and stopped wanting to post altogether.

But… we’re back!

So, here’s my “I’m back to it with a bang” reel and a little reminder of who I am and what Feather & Fern is all about.

You’ll be seeing a lot more from me throughout September and October — I pinky promise!

Expect flowers, bouquets, weddings, behind the scenes, workshops and lots more of me.

And dare I say it… Halloween and Christmas workshops are coming!

The time when it feels far too early to be talking about Christmas… but here we are, gently drip-feeding you our Christmas workshops anyway! ✨

This year is going to be a little different, with only a limited number of Christmas workshops taking place — so if you fancy getting crafty and kicking off the festive season with us, keep your eyes peeled!

This one is always a sell-out, and this year marks our third year at The Middle House — we genuinely can’t wait to be back!

Expect an evening of festive wreath making, seasonal foliage, Christmas cheer and probably the first mince pie or two of the year… because once December arrives, it’s officially allowed!

LOOK AT THESE BEAUTIES!! 🌿🌸

Locally grown… and by locally grown I mean a 5-minute drive away! 😂 You genuinely can’t get much more local (or sustainable) than that.

I had the loveliest time demonstrating a few different ways to create beautiful floral designs using British-grown, sustainable florals — showing that you really don’t need imported flowers or traditional floral foam to create something gorgeous.

We played around with:
🌿 A chicken wire basket arrangement
🌸 A renewable-oasis tablescape
🤍 A vase arrangement using stones for structure

All using gorgeous, seasonal, British-grown flowers — proof that sustainable floristry can still be beautiful, abundant and full of personality.

A huge thank you to Caroline for growing these absolute beauties and for letting me get creative with them!

Bouquets, bouquets and more bouquets!

We still do bouquets! Someone stopped my mum in the street the other day to say how upset they were that they couldn’t order a bouquet from me anymore… 🥲

Hunny, you still can!!😆😆

Just because I closed the shop doesn’t mean the bouquets have gone anywhere. I’m still here for all your bouquet needs, whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, thank you, sympathy flowers or simply a little treat for yourself.

And can we just take a moment for these autumnal hues creeping in? I am HERE for it.

Pass me a coffee, a blanket and all the candles because I’m an autumnal girly through and through… and apparently, so are my bouquets!
