This image was shot on the Canon R1 fitted with a Jupiter 6 lens from 1959. The lens is a 1.5kg beast but worth the effort. This image was shot wide, hence the shallow depth of field.

This film was available form the £1 store, I bought 40 rolls, I wish I had bought 100 rolls. A great colour film and what a bargain.

Steve Iso and I got chatting to this chap on the streets of Norwich a couple of weeks ago....we nicknamed him "The Carpenter" as he had a pencil behind his ear.
I like this street portrait but it is really a fail on my part, if you view the image full screen you will notice the shallow depth of field and the sharpest part of the image is his beard.....The sharpest part of a good portrait should be the subjects eyes !
I rushed the shot and failed to hit the point of focus.
