This week we are in BRAGA in northern Portugal for a multicultural fusion wedding !

The fab couple are actually from my own hometown Nottingham, which is a real rarity for me .

Family and friends have travelled from across the globe to attend this much awaited union, and there are beautiful wedding vibes in abundance everywhere.

There'll be several pre wedding events, so looking forward to lots of fun shenanigans in Portugal 💕

Day 5 of is about other celebrants who have inspired me.

There are many lovely inspirational celebrants who've are supportive and really inspiring but these two are just phenomenal women !

🌟Sonal Dave
The wonderful Sonal aka has to be mentioned as she's multi talented and has a wealth of expertise as a celebrant.
She's always willing to share her knowledge and like me believes in collaboration and lifting each other up !
Her ceremonies are full of creativity and celebrate diversity with a flair that's just unique to her ✨️✨️✨️

🌟Claire Lawrence
The brilliant shining star that is Claire is my other celebrant choice. 🌟 Coincidentally, we both live in the same town so often catch up and share ideas and experiences (over brunch usually! ) Her celebrant style is fun, awesome and heartfelt and she lights up any room she's in with her beaming smile. Clients love her as she's just full of warmth and generosity of spirit, plus shes an actual TikTok queen !! 👑

World Celebrant's Week 2023 day 3's theme is all about what I love about being a celebrant ❤️
Well I thought long and hard about how to narrow this one down so it's not an essay!
It came down to one thing and that is that I love celebrating love ❤️

It's an amazing feeling to create a ceremony that celebrates the love of two people coming together and witnessing the love and warmth that their family and friends have for them too.
Every ceremony is a testament to that love and I get to help couples share that ❤️ ❤️

It's World Celebrant's week so day one is ABOUT ME !

✨️I'm Jas an independent multicultural celebrant based in Nottingham and travel across the Uk and worldwide to perform ceremonies.

✨️I'm part of a big family and my greatest cheerleaders are my sisters 💛

✨️I love cooking for anyone who dares to try my culinary creations...although I'm rather well known for an awesome sticky toffee pudding !

✨️ I have a passion for singing and have written a book based on Punjabi folk songs traditionally sung at weddings.

✨️Love a bit of 70's 80's music and Tina Turner but my fave genre is the bhangra beat...I just have to dance !

✨️I'm married to a crazy Elvis fan and actually loved the trip we made some years ago to Elvis's Graceland home and his birthplace. That was really memorable ✨️

✨️Positivity is my best friend, and I don't worry about what might happen because to me that's a total waste of energy. "Let it be"

✨️I love to travel and my favourite is a cruise. Next one is to the Caribbean!! 💛

✨️ I am a wedding celebrant but also do funerals, naming ceremonies and vow renewals. Each one of my ceremonies gives me the opportunity to work with and meet some incredibly fabulous people. 💛
