⭐️⭐️Happy Parties is on the lookout for ‘’Party Hosts’’ AND ‘’Character Performers’’ to join our growing team on a flexible basis⭐️⭐️

Creating magical memories for children at everything from birthday parties to fun zones and schools to theme parks.

We will provide some brief information below, but if you have any further questions or wish to apply, please drop us a direct message here or email us: [email protected] 😊

What we are looking for:
• Availability on the weekend ideally, although may be some week day dates at times (agreement to bookings is flexible 😉)
• Great, confident personality, with a passion to have fun!
• Enjoys working with children!!
• Party Hosts Require: Full Driving Licence and access to a car (this is not essential for ‘’Character performers’’)
• Performing or similar experience would be great, but it is NOT essential
• All team will be required to undergo a DBS check.

What we offer:

The opportunity to earn extra income around your current job or studies.

• Great rates of pay: Up to £20 per performance hour for character Performers and up to £25 per hour for party hosts, depending on experience.
• Fully flexible around your availability with no commitment to agree to every booking offered.
• All equipment provided. And free training if needed.

Party Hosts will be required to use a microphone, as you are the main lead at our parties.

Character Performers bring our mascots to life in a fun and professional way.

🥳Who are Happy Parties?🥳

We have recently seen a few posts like this for small businesses across Facebook and felt inspired by them. So, allow us to introduce ourselves and welcome you to ‘’team Happy Parties’’

Happy Parties is the brainchild of Ben & Chantelle, which was launched on February 2024 after creating our ‘’then’’ 5-year-olds birthday party. After meeting at Butlins where we both joined as Redcoats, as a couple we have gone on to work within the entertainment industry for over 20 years!

Our journey has seen us working on holiday parks across the UK, alongside brands and production companies such as CBBC, CBeebies and Nickelodeon. Entertaining children of all ages with everything from engaging performances and fresh gameshows to party dances and kid’s clubs. We then moved from land to sea after becoming entertainment officers onboard cruise ships, creating and performing fresh entertainment and activities for children and adults alike. After 3 years on the waves, we returned to dry land where we worked for Rainbow Productions providing national mascot appearances.
Ben then went on present for Mad Science children’s parties and a range of other entertainment production shows in London such as Big Brother, Foxy Bingo and more.

Our extensive experience in children’s entertainment, and what seems to be the never ending birthday party invites our now 6 year old gets, has allowed us to create Happy Parties & Characters in Plymouth.

We (and the rest of our entertainment crew) absolutely love what we do! And have a passion for creating magical mascot moments alongside fresh children’s entertainment and fun spins on party classics.

There are some super exciting announcements we have on the way, which we can’t mention just yet! However, in preparation for these, we will shortly be looking for some fresh talent to join our entertainments team, so watch this space.
