Huge Funfair Set to Land in Ayr for Festival of Flight Weekend
A huge funfair featuring thrill rides, family attractions and what is described as Scotland’s first four-storey funhouse is set to arrive in Ayr for the International Ayr Show - Festival of Flight.
Organisers have described the attraction as “probably Scotland’s best funfair”, with an extensive line-up of rides and games planned across the two-day event.
The funfair will be open from 4pm until 9.30pm on Friday, September 4, and from noon until 7.30pm on Saturday, September 5.
Among the major attractions will be Freak Out, Sky Flyer, Giant Wheel, Super Trooper, Stealth Bomber, Superstar, Waltzer, Meteorite, King Sizzler, Dodgems, Techno Power and Matrix.
Families can also enjoy Jumping Frogs, the Wacky Worm rollercoaster, Super Slide, Samba Balloon Tower, Haunted Mansion and a wide selection of children’s rides.
One of the headline attractions will be a massive four-storey funhouse, which organisers say will be appearing in Scotland for the first time.
There will also be a variety of prize-winning games available throughout the weekend.
Visitors will be able to pay by cash or card on all rides and games.
The International Ayr Show – Festival of Flight takes place at Ayr shorefront on Friday, September 4, and Saturday, September 5, bringing aerial displays, live entertainment and family attractions to the town.
