Part one of an extraordinary stay at the Wilderness Reserve! ✨
A few weeks ago, I spent a brilliant 24 hours here, in fantastic company and surrounded by some of the very best in the industry. A huge thank you to everyone who made it such a special and thoughtfully put-together experience, it really was a pleasure to be part of it.
After a tour of their beautiful new property, Blythe Barn, and settling into the most stunning room at Chapel Barn, we were taken by Land Rovers to one of the estate’s most special experiences… the Fire Feast.
We began with cocktails around the campfire, with beautiful music in the background as the light started to fade. Then onto an incredible open-fire feast, sampling new summer dishes from their new chef, who guided us through each course as it was prepared.
We were also beautifully entertained throughout dinner by The Gatsby Band, who are firmly a new favourite!
The tipi itself was just magical, filled with flowers and candlelight by F**a and Co, it looked sooo pretty!
After dinner, we gathered back around the fire for hot chocolate under the stars, toasted marshmallows, and even learnt a few owl calls along the way.
Having planned weddings here since 2018, and more frequently in recent years, it always feels important to spend time on the estate like this. Seeing it through a guest’s eyes, noticing the little details, and experiencing the flow of a stay properly makes such a difference when supporting clients planning their own celebrations here.
It was also so lovely to catch up with familiar faces and make new connections along the way. Already looking forward to being back again soon 🤍
