Styal Lodge is one of my all time favourite Cheshire wedding venues. It’s a family run, exclusive use venue tucked away in the quaint village of Styal. Surrounded by green fields and a beautiful landscaped garden area it’s the perfect location for spring and summer weddings.

So I made my bride cry on her wedding day!!! A little on the day preview of printed photos made my bride cry, in a lovely way of course!!

Printed pictures always hit harder than digital and where possible I will, if time allows, deliver some sneaky previews on the wedding day.

Yesterday I had the absolutely amazing pleasure of photographing the wedding of Lou and Neil! This one was a little bit special as it was super close to home and these guys have been friends of mine for A LONG TIME!!

Not only that but they did everything the way they wanted and surrounded themselves with friends and family and just did what they wanted, which was to take over an entire pub for the day, play games and hang out with all the nearest and dearest.

Getting to photograph their wedding was awesome but it was also so good to see friends I haven't seen in so long and capture them all having the best time!!!

Back at the stunning Stock Farm Wedding Barn for a stunner of an outdoor ceremony, lots of sun, champagne and some hydration tablets to level a few people out!

After a super scorcher for Harry and Chloe the party continued with Call Of The Kraken bringing the jams!!

It was ace to be working with .flore_ too!!

Some of these have probably never been shown on my grid before but they are some of my favourites. A mix of documentary wedding photography along with the chaos of the dancefloor and confetti.

Had the most beautiful pre wedding shoot today at Didsbury Parsonage and Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens with Kyle and Chelsea.

During the shoot Chelsea told me she hated every minute of it because she hates being in front of the camera and hates having her picture taken. I didn’t even make it home before she messaged to say
“Thanks again for today and for making me feel comfortable with something that makes me very uncomfortable 🤣”

I’m calling that, and these banging images, a massive WIN!

I cannot wait for your wedding now at this summer!!

Some of the things I absolutely cannot wait for this wedding season!

The season has started and I am starting to see a few things in my list already. The chaos and confetti, the dance floors filled with guests having the best time, the emotional moments making people laugh and cry and throw out the occasional fist pump!

But the most important thing I am looking forward is getting to do this thing I call a job for another year for some incredible couples who trust me to capture their vision, their wedding, their friends, family and loved ones on one of the most important days of their lives and it isn’t something I take lightly.
