It is with a heavy heart, and the decision has not been easy, but after over 35 years of trading Miss Elle's Bespoke Garlands and Wreaths is now closed. The business, named after a nickname my much loved Grandma was given, has been through many hard times, but none quite so hard as the past few years. It has always been run as a family business. Due to increasing prices on flowers, the cost of living crisis and COVID we have done as much as we could to keep going, but that also comes with a cost to health, and keeping family happy and healthy which is of the utmost importance to us. Ensuring the best quality flowers and attention to detail, working at hours most would find unacceptable has been a challenge, but enjoyable (and yes stressful at times!). We worked so hard for all these years for the love of flowers, design, a career and to do the very best for our customers be it a happy occasion or maybe not so much, to create memories that will last a lifetime.
Thank you all, but it's time for us to move on, keep interest in new younger designers, some of whom I taught over the years and many I learned a lot from! Some new experiences I'm sure will be on the horizon! Looking forward to it, but we will still miss the stories and contact from our customers.
