Just spotted this on one of the venues we work at page.
So true and some great advice.

🤍 If we could give every couple ONE piece of wedding advice…

STOP.

Just for a moment.

Take a breath. Look around. Look at your person. Look at all the people who have come to celebrate with you.

Because after watching hundreds of couples get married at Tournerbury Woods, we’ve learned one thing…

Your wedding day will go by in a heartbeat.

You’ll spend months planning the flowers, the food, the music, the seating plan, the little details and the BIG details.

And then suddenly…

It’s here.

And before you know it, the cake has been cut, the last song has played and you’re wondering where on earth the day went. 🥹

So don’t spend your day worrying about whether everything is perfect.

If it rains — dance in it. 🌧️
If something goes wrong — laugh about it. 😂
If the timeline slips — nobody will notice.
If you haven’t spoken to every guest — that’s okay.

Go and enjoy your wedding.

Sneak away together for five minutes.
Have a drink.
Take a breath.
Watch your friends dance.
Hold hands under the table.
Make a memory that wasn’t on the schedule.

Because years from now, you won’t remember whether the napkins were perfectly folded…

You’ll remember how you felt. ❤️

So our one piece of advice?

Don’t just plan your wedding day. Make sure you actually LIVE it. 🌿🤍

And if that means swapping the traditional napkin twirl for a tambourine shake…

We’re absolutely here for it. 🥁😂

I wanted to introduce you to our new refrigerated van yesterday but it looked so plain. 🚐

It’s had its stickers put on today and now looks part of the team. 😊

I have been so pleased with the electric van we got 3 years ago I thought it was time to upgrade our fridge van.

The old van has gone to the Isle of Wight to be a fish van. 🐟

We offer a variety of services, 🍲

Lots of BBQ s at the moment. 🍗

Pizzas and hog roasts also popular. 🍕

At the weekend I was in Hayling and served a hog roasts also popular along with Paella 🥘 in a beautiful back garden over looking the water.
Emma was cooking a bbq in Gosport and Sarah was serving cakes and sandwiches in Portsmouth.

What ever the occasion we have the catering to go alongside.

I even had time to catch up on some paperwork and sat and watched the sun go down. 🌅

Emma our chef and wedding coordinator recently got engaged to Hayden! ❤️

So our question to anyone who we have looked after catering for your wedding, or a couple who are booked in, what one piece of advice would you give to them?

Doesn’t have to be big things, just nice little touches you did or maybe didn’t do that you wished you had.

Bbqs for weddings and birthdays. 🍗

Pizza for evening wedding food. 🍕

Lots of desserts 🍮

Afternoon teas. 🫖

It’s been a mixed bag with being too hot 🥵 then the next week getting soaking wet ☔️

Hog roast on HMS Warrior next week.

A very busy week so far.

Wednesday evening we were at HMS Victory Gallery serving the Worshipful Company of Glovers.

Thursday at Fareham Live catering the Mayor making and seeing Cllr. Tina Ellis being made Mayor of Fareham.

Both events went well and were enjoyed by all, thanks so much to my team who never let me down.

I have received many compliments from guests who attended the event in Victory Gallery on Wednesday, including from the Master Glover. We all appreciated the work of you and your team; the tables looked great, the food was delicious and the service excellent. Had a thank you note from The Mayor of Fareham to thank us for the catering we have provided for her over the last year. ☺️

We have looked after some of the Mayor’s catering for many years now and it is nice to see how each Mayor puts their own mark on the role and generates interest and fundraises for different charities each year. 😊

We have enjoyed working with Councillor Mrs Louise Clubley and are looking forward to proving the catering later this month for the “Mayor Making” of the new Mayor of Fareham. 🍲
